Biotechnology

1) What is biotechnology?
Biotechnology is the technology involving living organisms: such as plants, animals, or even body parts.

2) Who would benefit from this technology, and what are the advantages?
Humans would benefit the most from this technology, especially disables and people who lose their body parts. For example, if a person loses their arm during war, biotechnology provides them with a new arm. So instead of living their life without an arm, or a hand that could do nothing, they can now have a hand that can help them tie their shoes, pick up a pen, or a glass of water. As technology gets better, the hands can probably do even more amazing things.

3) Is it ethical to replace human body parts with biotechnology?
Well, I think it's more of a choice rather than a right or wrong kind of thing. For example, of course disables and people with missing body parts can, but if a normal person wants to replace their body parts for no reasons, then that's fine. As long as they don't compete in competitions where humans use their real hands but the people who use biotechnology are there. It would be in a way cheating, because normal human can't possibly beat technology. And it would still be fine as long as they don't commit crime AND do it voluntarily, not forced to.
